Four members of the Camp Fire Girls, dressed in their uniforms, are crowned as Mardi Gras queens at the Camp Fire Girls Mardi Gras party held at O'Leary Junior High School gym. The Queens are, from left to right, Mary Murphy, Horizon Club Queen; Pamela Kaye Tracy, Junior High Queen; Linda Garrett, Camp Fire Girls Queen; and Phomia Sliman, Blue Bird Queen. They are wearing crowns and corsages on their wrists, and are holding trophies and their essays in their lap. In front of each girl on the floor is a six pack of 12 ounce Coca-Cola bottles. Four men dressed in suits and ties and an officer wearing his uniform stand behind the seated girls. The net of a basketball hoop can be seen above them.
